Nearly 49,000 people in India are diagnosed with COVID-19; precious lives have been lost and the casualties will go up. As Nepal goes under total lockdown to tackle Coronavirus, 90% of Nepal workforce working in the informal sector faces an uncertain future without wages or reassurance of wages

It’s daily wages that puts food on their table; buys them their medicines and basic essential items. They can neither afford sanitisers, masks or gloves nor access quality and affordable healthcare if diagnosed positive 

With your support Child Development Nepal will leverage its expertise in wash and food items for the most vulnerable. We will provide portable hand washing stations and protective gears / Personal Protection Equipment to service providers, dry ration, spread awareness and advocate with the government to strengthen public healthcare and economic assistance
